Electromigration Videos
The following videos illustrate electromigration under accelerated
stress testing. They were taken in John Bravman's lab at Stanford
University using a scanning electron microscope. You will see voids
form and move due to electromigraton. The color is a measure of the
thickness of the conducting metal. Blue is thick and red is no
conductor at all. The videos are in the .avi format and can be displayed with
the RealOne Player.
